Sutton Schools - Simply the best!

As students and their teachers continue to enjoy the Easter break, I was pleased to hear that, earlier this week, over 91% of Sutton’s families have been offered a place at their first choice primary school and that over 98% of children have been offered one of their top three preferences. 

Reading these figures, I was reminded of how popular our schools are in Sutton and how a number of residents tell me that alongside our great parks and low crime, one of the main reasons they move here is because of our excellent schools at both primary and secondary level.  

The success of our schools is down to the dedication and hard work of the teachers and staff, and also the support of families whose children attend the schools. As a Council, we work with local schools and our education provider Cognus to make sure that every child in our borough has access to a place.
