Household Support Fund

The Household Support Fund is funding provided by Government to Local Authorities to directly help those who need it the most.

Find out what support is available to help with the cost of living. This includes income and disability benefits, bills and allowances, childcare, housing and travel.

Government guidance on getting extra payments to help with the cost of living if you’re entitled to certain benefits or tax credits can be found on GOV.UK.

Due to high demand for support, applications are limited to one per household.

The fund is to be used to support residents experiencing financial hardship who require access to food, fuel, winter essentials & utility bills.

Please note: Due to the high level of applications we are limiting each payment.

Professionals completing this form on behalf of applicants are expected to carry out the appropriate checks and provide confirmation of their confidence that the applicant is eligible for this fund, confirming the applicant is facing financial hardship.

Please note that this is not an emergency payment. Due to the number of applications, there may be a delay in issuing funds.
