We use our social media channels to share news, updates and information about events in Sutton. We are happy to help you in any way that we can and encourage you to share your views and feedback.
We do however expect you to do so in a calm and polite way, and you can expect the same from us. To help with this, here are our page rules:

- you are wholly responsible for any content you post, including content that you choose to share
We reserve the right to take action in relation to social media posts or messages which:
- are abusive, harassing or threatening, including to council staff, elected representatives or other individuals
- use discriminatory or offensive language/swear words which are intended to cause concern/harm or intimidate
- are defamatory or libellous
- may be in contempt of court
- break any UK law or regulation, or may incite someone/people to break the law
- are spam (including the repeated posting of a message which is the same or substantially similar)
- contain inappropriate material
- disrupt our ability to support other community members.
Any such action may result in one, or all, of the following:
- removing the offending post
- blocking the user
- reporting them to the social media platform in question
