There are two ways to address the Planning Committee if you have an interest in an application:
- request to speak at the meeting
- submit a written statement about the application of interest
Speak at a meeting
Applicants, residents and ward councillors may request to address a meeting of the Committee for a maximum of 4 minutes. Should there be more than 1 person requesting to speak with the same interest in an application, we will ask that either:
- a nominated representative addresses the committee for 4 minutes
- the 4 minute time limit is divided between the registered speakers
You can complete a form to request to speak at Planning Committee.
Note, the form will open when the reports for the meeting are published on the council's website, ordinarily 10 days before a meeting. The form will close at midday on the day of the meeting.
Submit a written statement
You can complete a form to submit a written statement to the Planning Committee.
Written statements must not exceed 2500 characters in length and may not contain any images. The deadline for submitting a written statement is 10:00am on the third working day before a meeting.
For further information contact Committee Services via email or call 020 8770 4990. You will need to include the meeting date and application number in the subject line of the email.
