Current Proposals and Developments
The Council is currently working on the development of several sites across the borough in order to deliver on its affordable housing objective. The Council aims to achieve this through the building of new homes, regenerating council estates and exploring innovative ways to increase housing supply.

Completed Developments
Over the last 6 years, the Council has built 127 new homes for the Borough’s residents. The schemes on which these have been delivered are:
Phase 1
- Fellowes Road, Carshalton - 15 houses completed in October 2018
- Alcester Road, Wallington - 57 flats completed August 2019
- Richmond Green, Beddington - 21 houses completed August 2019
Phase 2a
- Bisham Close, Carshalton - 4 houses completed in September 2022
- Forde Place, Carshalton - 4 houses completed October 2022
- Otway House, Stonecot Hill - 6 flats completed November 2022
- Assembly Walk, Carshalton - 10 flats completed November 2022
- Radcliffe Gardens - 4 houses completed in December 2022
Phase 2b
- Thyme House, Alexandra Gardens - 23 Flats completed in August 2023
- Eagle Chambers - 6 flats completed in December 2023
All of the Phase 1, 2a and 2b properties are now fully occupied and the new residents and community are benefiting from these high-quality homes that enhance the local environment.
