Citizen Access - New registration process
You will need to re-register to access. Choose the service you require. Council Tax, Housing Benefit or Council Tax reduction, Business Rates and Housing Benefit landlord portal, and follow the instructions for new users.
When you click on the sign in or register for an account link you will be shown this screen.
If you are logging in for the first time you will need to create a new account.
Register for an account
1. Are you registering as an individual or for a company?
- organisation is a company
- person is an individual
2. You will then need to enter your name and Council Tax account number as it appears on your bill.
3. On the next screen you will need to enter the following information:
- current postcode as it appears on your bill
- last 3 digits of your telephone number (if we do not have a telephone number for you on our records email counciltax@sutton.gov.uk with your full name, address and telephone number)
- last 3 digits of your bank account number
4. The last step is to create the account. You will need to enter:
- your email address
- your username which will also be your email address
- a password
- select whether you would like to go paperless for future billing
You will also need to accept the terms and conditions.
5. Once these steps are completed you will receive an email confirming your registration. Click on the link in the email to activate your account. Once activated you will be able to sign in and view your council tax account.
To register return to the My account page and select one of the Myaccount services.
