An e cargo bike is now in operation this week at Sutton Utd.

The club will be hosting it for use by local residents and businesses. The club will also be using it to transport playing and training kits and equipment and delivering food for players and staff.

OurBike has launched at Charles Cryer Centre, Carshalton.

OurBike is an e-cargo bike share scheme funded by local councils.

Local residents and businesses can hire an e- cargo bike with the app for just £3 an hour.

Every one of the OurBikes are hosted by a local stakeholder (business, charity, org...) whose sole responsibility is to swap the batteries of the bike when needed.

OurBike aims to not only provide an alternative solution to a car but it also aspire to enable better community connections through a highly locally focused approach of mobility.

It is incredibly easy to hire an OurBike. Simply download the app, sign-up, make sure to upload a photo of your ID for account activation and you are good to go!

You can then book the OurBike of your choice, go to its host location, ride it and bring it back when you are done.

The OurBike community uses the bikes for a wide range of tasks whether it’s transporting people, carrying commercial tools & equipment or going to the recycling centre.
