For starting Secondary School at year 7 in September 2025

Some schools will need your child to sit a test or be assessed for a place.

You'll find out the results before the closing date for applications. If your child is eligible for a place, you can put that school on your application.

The table below says when you have to register for these tests. Contact the school to find out more and register.

After you've registered, the school will send you invitations to tests or assessments.

Success in tests or assessments for any of these schools does not guarantee an offer of a place.

Please ensure you verify these dates via the school's own website.
