The Council has contracted out parking enforcement to Saba (formerly Indigo). 

Contact them on 020 8661 0096 if you need to report illegal parking.

Their operational hours and response time is subject to available resources.

Footway parking enforcement

Parking on the footway is parking with one or more wheels on:

  • pavements
  • dropped kerbs
  • grass verges

There is a ban across London on parking on the footway, and this is enforced in Sutton.

Do not park on the footway unless there are signs and white bay markings indicating that you may do so.

Bank holiday parking

On bank holidays, some restrictions will not apply and a penalty charge notice will not be issued to vehicles.

This applies for:

  • Resident Permit Bays
  • Permit Parking Areas
  • Pay and Display Bays (including Surface Car Parks)
  • Shared Use Bays
  • Limited Time Waiting Bays
  • Single Yellow lines (except where yellow kerb markings are in place)

All other restrictions and obstructive parking will be enforced in the normal manner.
