We're working with other organisations to help tackle the climate and ecological emergency. Find out more about them and our work together.
London Councils
London Councils is an organisation which works on behalf of London boroughs. They have committed to working with London boroughs to respond to the climate emergency. This includes a series of joint projects which Sutton will take part in.

South London Partnership
The South London Partnership is a collaboration of 5 London boroughs:
- Sutton
- Croydon
- Kingston upon Thames
- Merton
- Richmond upon Thames
We're working together on projects to tackle climate change including electric vehicle charging and district heat networks.
Internet of Things
The South London Partnership is also working on the Internet of Things project. This involves using sensors to help understand how people are living and travelling to help solve common problems.
Procurement
We are reviewing our procurement policies to include sustainability requirements.
Sutton Community Environment Champions
The Community Environment Champions work together to take action to tackle the climate emergency. Individuals and groups have hosted stalls at Eco-Fairs and set up Repair Cafes.

Green Enterprise Partnership
The Green Enterprise Partnership was created for local businesses in Sutton to support them, and key stakeholders, to help businesses thrive whilst they move towards a greener future.
Fairtrade in Sutton
The Sutton Community Fairtrade Group leads work on Fairtrade in the borough. This group includes representatives from:
- voluntary groups
- churches
- schools
- businesses
