All meals are nutritionally balanced.

There are options for different diets and preferences. Alternative options are available if you don’t like a particular meal.

Cost

The cost for Meals on Wheels is:

  • £6 for a hot meal and dessert
  • £3 for a packed tea

You can pay this by monthly invoice or direct debit.

How Meals on Wheels works

We work in partnership with the Sutton Old People’s Welfare Committee. All of our meals are delivered by their volunteers.

The volunteers always check on a person’s wellbeing to make sure that they're safe and well. They will immediately report any concerns.

How to book Meals on Wheels

To book Meals on Wheels you can:

Opening hours are 10am to 2pm daily, including bank holidays and weekends.

Get help with food shopping

Speak to your local supermarket

Many supermarkets will help you with your shopping if you have difficulty shopping for yourself.

They can help you get around the supermarket if you use a wheelchair, or deliver your shopping to your home. You can contact the supermarket to see how they can help you.

Contact a local foodbank

If you're struggling to pay for food, you can get emergency food parcels from Sutton Foodbank.
